Description
Willie was one of the most respected Shetland fiddlers and musicians, with a worldwide reputation. This album contains 16 tracks recorded shortly before he died and is a fitting legacy to a great man.
Sixteen tracks of Shetland fiddle music played by a master of his art with Violet Tulloch providing first rate support on piano as she did so often for Willie's television appearances and many other performances.
A few of the tunes are Willie's own compositions, some of which have become popular staples of the Scottish music scene.
