Description
Aberdour composer, Billy McNeil has composed and recorded a set of original pieces for Highland bagpipes. As well as composing the music he plays the flute, whistle and keyboards.
Lead and harmony bagpipes on the recording are played by Dunfermline piper, Brian Lamond, a Grade 1 Pipe Major. The Cosmic Piper marks a departure from Brian's usual material as the album contains tracks with more futuristic, alternative feel. Brian was a member of the Victoria Police Pipe Band when they won The World Pipe Band Championships.
