Description
A CD of traditional Scottish fiddle music from the well-known band leader Stuart Forbes with pianist Ray Milbourne plus accordion from Iain MacPhail and double bass from Alex Forbes.
Stuart and Alex are both best known for their Scottish Country Dance music with their band The Craigievar Scottish Dance Band, so this is a bit of a change playing for a listening audience! The fourteen tracks do include some jigs and reels, but also slow airs, marches and medleys and a couple solo piano pieces.
