Get ready to be swept away by the enchanting vocals of Stravaig - Movin' On! This all-women, four-piece group brings a quirky twist to traditional Scottish songs (and even a zulu chant!). With occasional accompaniment on fiddle, harp, pipes, and percussion, their performances are a one-of-a-kind experience!
Stravaig are Moira Greenwood, Susie Kelly, Phyllis Martin and Jean McMonies. With backing from Davy Steele (bodhran, congas, bongos and bouzouki), Patsy Seddon (electro harp), Eilidh Shaw (fiddle), Fred Morrison (Lowland pipes, whistle), Roy Ashby (bass drum) and Thebe Lipere (djembe).
Stravaig are joined by the group Umkambathi on the Zulu chant track.
