Storm Glass With Beechwood Base

The Storm Glass is a barometer with extra features, as invented by Admiral Fitzroy, the captain of HMS Beagle (Charles Darwin's ship). As well as responding to atmospheric pressure there are crysals inside the tube that respond to the temperature too, grouping or dispersing. This gives a much better forecast of the weather than the original barometers.

Supplied on a solid beechwood base.

Approx: 14 cm tall.
