In the past year Shooglenifty have played most of Britain's major music festivals, the mighty Tonder Festival in Denmark and also visited Hungary, Poland, Hong Kong and Malaysia - taking every new venue by storm! The reaction to this Band since the release of their first album, Venus in Tweeds, has been phenomenal!

The album was recorded at Castle Cava Studios, Pencaitland, East Lothian, by Stuart Hamilton and was produced by Jim Sutherland. The album sleeve was designed by John Haxby (the 'Shooglenifty' kilt-pin, included on front cover, was designed by Brenda Temple).
