Description
I know, Northumbria isn't in Scotland, but we think of Roddy Matthews as an honorary Scot. He often plays Scottish music, plays in Robert Whitehead's Scottish Dance Band and is a regular at the Shetland Fiddle and Accordion Festival. On "Seeing In The Dawn" Roddy Matthews is joined by Tom Orr (accordion), Jim Nichol (keyboard & bass), Scott Nichol (accordion), Iain 'Stretch' Macfadyen (drums & electric guitar) and Dorothy Lawrenson (Northumbrian Pipes).
Stretch's Jig Set; Gordon; West Highland Marches; Roddy's Hornpipes; Back To The West; Northumbrian Rants; Granny And Grandad's Ruby Wedding; Favourite Waltzes; Northumbrian Pipe Set; Northumberland/Shetland Reels; Polkas; Levi Jackson Rag; Leaving Lordenshaw; Uswayford Set.
If you like fiddle music you can check out our Scottish Fiddle CD collection and you may also find them used in lots of Scottish Country Dance CDs, or Scottish Ceilidh Dance CDs.
