Meoran Ciuil - 1998 Recordings

A re-release of a 1998 recording featuring a fine selection of music played by Meoran Ciuil - two brothers from Inverness, Graeme (accordion) and Stephen (fiddle) Mackay.  Accompanied by their father on drums and great-uncle on 2nd accordion. A good part of the Jim MacKay dance band!

Atholl Highlanders; 51st Highland Division; Road And The Miles To Dundee; Leaving Glenurquhart; Superintendant R.D. Cardwell R.U.C; Jacqueline Waltz; Six Twenty Two Step; Roaring Jelly; The Duchess Tree; Dovecot Park; Topsy; John Macdonalds March; Inverness Gathering; De'il Amang The Tailors.

If you like accordion music you can check out our Scottish Accordion CD collection and you may also find accordions used in lots of Scottish Country Dance CDs, or Scottish Ceilidh Dance CDs.
