The Singing Molecatcher Of Morayshire, John MacDonald, was born in 1905 in Morayshire. He started his career as a molecatcher at the age of thirteen but soon became known as a champion singer, whistler, diddler and melodeon player. The album was recorded in 1974 and is now released on CD.
