Description
This is John Kenny’s second album featuring the Carnyx, the bronze Celtic war horn. A Carnyx was dug up on the shores of the Moray Firth in the Highlands of Scotland, and the one used for this recording was modelled on that historic item. In John Kenny's expert hands this amazing instrument can be heard again after thousands of years of silence.
John also plays the Trombone and Alphorn, and is joined by The Yggdrasil String Quartet and John Whiting.
