He has recorded many radio broadcasts with Addie Harper and The Wick Fiddlers, and more recently on BBC Radio Scotland's "Take The Floor", "Live at the Lemon Tree" and "Mr. Anderson's Fine Tunes", plus live work on BBC Radio 2. Gordon has also written and performed music along with Ruby Rendall for BBC T.V.'s "Beechgrove Garden" and more recently the Gordon Gunn Band appeared on Grampian and STV's "Northern Nights", for which the Band received rave reviews. Gordon is a prolific composer and his tunes have been covered by other artistes such as Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham. Gordon regularly performs to worldwide guests at Ackergill Tower, nr. Wick, and has also performed for The Queen Mother at the Castle of Mey.

PHlL ANDERSON has been involved in music since his early teens and played in various bands, before turning professional to tour with The Ruby Rendall Band, where he first met up with Gordon. Phil is continually in the recording studio, be it his own Stormsound Studio, Kirkwall, where most of "Shoreside" was recorded, or other studios throughout Europe where he is in much demand for session work. He has produced countless albums and received many awards for both his productions and arrangements and, because he is so very adaptable to a wide variety of different styles of music, he has been invited to tour extensively in both Europe and the U.S.A. with various artistes. Phil is currently busy in the studio, working on his next project and preparing for a Scottish tour with the Gordon Gunn Band.

BILLY PEACE started playing piano accordion at the age of six and by eight was winning talent competitions; by thirteen, Billy was accomplished on guitar and had progressed to playing at dances and in pubs; at eighteen Billy recorded a solo album and then concentrated on the piano. A few years later he was playing with The Ruby Rendall Band, with whom he appeared on many TV and radio shows, before going on to tour Europe with a chart-topping band, followed by other European tours with various Orcadian bands. Billy has always been in huge demand for session work and at the last count had recorded on more than thirty albums. He recorded and produced Ivan Drever's acclaimed solo album "Four Walls" and co-produced The Wrigley Sisters' "Huldreland" album.

In 1999 a reviewer summed up the Band as follows:- "Formed relatively recently but have toured together for many years as part of The Ruby Rendall Band, Wick fiddler Gordon Gunn with Orcadians Phil Anderson and Billy Peace look set to to become a major force on the Scottish acoustic music scene. Traditional Scottish styles are blended with a keen understanding of country music, by three extremely talented players, into a diverse and highly accomplished section of great roots sounds. "
