Description
Rediscover the folk duo that rocked the 80s with Fraser & Ian Bruce's "The Best of Mrs Bruce's Boys"! Remastered tracks and live recordings showcase their hit festival sets and renowned radio and TV appearances.
Fraser and Ian Bruce enjoyed an extremely successful period in the 1980s playing festivals, concerts and folk clubs throughout the UK and other countries around the world. In one year alone they appeared as a main stage act at fourteen festivals in the UK. They made many radio and television appearances plus they released three very fine albums.
Fraser went off to run a business whilst Ian proceeded with his musical career. He wrote some fabulous songs and his voice was second to none on the folk scene, and over the years he released around 20 CDs.
Fraser’s sons now run the business, so he has time to get together again. They have produced an album of songs from their days in the 1980s with some re-mastered tracks, and some re-recorded live tracks.
Ian Walker joins the lads on the live tracks, which were recorded in front of an invited audience in the Wee Folk Club, Edinburgh.
