Taking their name from the Gaelic word for kinship Daimh (pronounced da-eve) brings together Angus MacKenzie (Cape Breton) on pipes, Gabe McVarish (California) on fiddle), Colm O'Rua (Ireland) on banjo and mandola, and a West Highland rhythm section of James Bremner on bodhran and guitarist Ross Martin. Combine all of this with Calum Alex MacMillan from Point on the Isle Of Lewis (a Mod gold medallist) and you have one of the top bands in the Highlands today.
