Finalist in prestigious music awards, his songs are aired on Radio Scotland and he has performed at numerous festivals. With a passion for storytelling and connecting with younger audiences, he's a refreshing take on the Scottish singer stereotype.
Finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland ‘Young Traditional Musician Of The Year’ Award in both 2011 and 2012, and won the TMSA’s ‘Young Singer Of Merit’ award the same year.
He is accompanied by Aly Macrae (piano, fiddle and mandolin), Steven Polwart (guitars) and Inge Thomson (backing vocals).
