Black Isle Reed Diffuser - Black Pomegranate
Our Black Isle Reed Diffusers are scented with classic Black Pomegranate, indicative of the beautiful Black Isle.
We are regularly asked in our shop "Why is The Black Isle called the Black Isle?" It may be because of the excellent dark farming soil. It may be that it is because the Black Isle looks dense and dark especially in the winter on a cold wet day. Old tales of witchcraft and wizardry are also cited as being the reasons for the name.
Whatever the truth, we love the Black Isle because of its beautiful coastal villages such as Avoch, Cromarty and Rosemarkie, and its deep, dark woods, large open fields and well-kept farms. The Black Isle is just off the North Coast 500 route, but well worth a detour to find deserted beaches to walk on, dolphin watching at Chanonry Point, historical villages and museums, and plenty of excellent cycle routes.
One thing for certain is that the Black Isle is not actually an isle. It's a peninsula, situated just north of Inverness in The Highlands. It is about 20 miles long and 10 miles wide, but a lot is packed into that area.
Our Black Isle Reed Diffuser is presented in a glass bottle, gift boxed and hand tied with luxurious black ribbon.
