Description

Local author Anne-Mary Paterson is great grand-niece of William & Murdoch Paterson - two of the railway engineers who pioneered the construction of the train lines around the Highlands of Scotland. Among the tracks they were responsible for was the difficult Aviemore to Inverness one and the stunningly scenic Dingwall to Kyle of Lochalsh.

One of their triumphs is the Nairn Viaduct at Culloden which is pictured on the cover. The book has plenty of black & white pictures, some old, some new.

80 pages.

Approx: 16.5 x 24 cm
